![]() ![]() You've not realised there are two types of libraries now and you've tried to hack a regular old library into a folder which is meant to be protected and EAGLE sees as part of its managed libraries system. Ok, so I think I have an idea what's going on here. It shows up in ADD menu, but not in REPLACE menu? Entire c:\eagle is given "everyone/full control" permission, inherited all the way down. In windows, library is placed in control panel>libraries>managed libraries>my managed libraries. When you say you placed it under the user area, where is that located? If you could give screenshots of your directories setup, your control panel view, and your add/replace dialogs, or maybe a video showing going through everything, just in case that shows up something that's otherwise not apparent then hopefully it should be fairly straightforward to get you up and running.įYI, I'm using 9.3.0 on the latest macOS too and it's fine here.īest have the exact same issue on PC and on Mac, so not sure how can something be wrong with my setup(s)īecause you have done the same wrong thing in both did not make any change from default configuration, except giving permissions on c:\eagle folder. File permissions, location not as expected, etc. There must be something in your setup which is preventing it from working. ![]() I work with user libraries regularly and don't have issues with this. ![]() It's not useless, it works just the way it did in v7 in this regard. Autodesk, you really need to get your act together! I finally had to go back to 7.6 to edit a freakin' footprint. I wasted a full day trying to figure out how to show user library in add/replace dialogs. I want to have ability to edit footprints and create custom libraries with ease - it's absolutely essential. ![]()
